I'm finally here and duke and it's great so far. My feelings on the college so far....

**i'm soo glad i have a/c dorm
**my roommate is really nice...her name is Caitlin Milligan
**i got to see jeeyon and friends from san diego who i havent seen in like over 2 years
**everyone is soooo darn smart and well-rounded....we have like the kid who won the junior chess championship when he was a sophomore...and that's just one of the many geniuses
**Project BUILD was the BEST!! a week before school started, 130 people (80 freshman and 50 upperclassmen) got together to do community service and just get to know each other. We only got like 3-4 hrs of sleep everyday, but it was worth it!
**We had freshmen orientation and stuff in the Duke Chapel. The chapel is like the prettiest building on campus. On sunday, the choir was soooo good and at the end of church, they ring the bells at the top of the church. It's beautiful.
**We are going to a Durham Bulls baseball game today. I went once for BUILD and they aren't very good. I'll go to socialize. hahah
**I really really really miss korean food. >.<  i think i am seriously gonna gain weight if i keep eating this food. There is a gym really close by, so i need to work out i guess.
**I really miss my family. Most of the other student had their parents come with them and drive them around to get things that they needed. I had to move in by myself. (sniff sniff)
**i'm wondering where i'm gonna go this winter. I wanna go back to Korea but i'm not sure if i can.
**I finally got a cell phone, which was great, and my laptop. I got to talk to my parents and my sister. I hadn't talked to them in like over a week so it was great. I can finally get in touch now.

well that's all i can think of rite now. I bet a lot of my fellow classmates have all moved into ur dorms too. haha tell me how everything is goin~ ohh yea my cell number is 919-358-0466. give me a call!

haha well well well....my sister decided that she thought my xanga was too boring so look wat she did~! she added an elephant...some rain....and totally changed it!! hmmm but i'm not so sure that i like it...=P Unis~ thanx! hehe but change it again and i'll see if i like the new one.

Well life has been very uneventful these last few days. Things are winding down here in Texas. I have to pack a few boxes to send to school...and send in some paperwork. But besides that, i'm jus shopping, watching movies, reading, and sleeping a lot. ^^;; Finally its only a week and a half away till i go to Pennsylvania to see my great aunt and New York. I might even go to Niagra Falls for the first time! haha i'm so excited!! Time flies when ur having fun. It's the waiting that kills ya.

Well....haha I'm leaving for the states in a few days...THursday July 7th to be exact~!!
I'm soo excited to be going back. I can remember the first time that I came to Korea, how much I wanted to go back. I've come to love Korea, but now I think that I'm gonna enjoy the change. Well while I'm sitting here at my grandparents house in Seoul, I can just think of soo many things that I have to do before I leave. I have to say goodbye to all the people that have meant something to me during high school, I have to pack all my stuff (which I havent even started), and I have to go to the dentist....hmmmm.

Today we took a family picture...the last one before I go to the states. I guess I realized that this is it. Tomorow, after I go to the dentist and meet up with some friends, it's going to be the last day that I meet my sister too for a while. She's stayin in Seoul because she has to take SAT hakwon...>.< It doesnt seem like i'm leaving yet...it hasnt really sunk in yet...so i'm not even ready to say goodbye to my sister yet. It just seems soo weird. But i just wanted to say...I'll Miss You EUNICE~!! haha....sounds kinda corny~

Well i still have a few more days so i guess its ok not to feel like i'm leaving yet...or maybe its not ok. hmm...ill find out sooner or later. If I don't put up another xanga entry before i leave, thanx to everyone who has been there for me~ I'll miss all of you~!
